Tasty Tzatziki
Makes 1 1/4 Cups
Ingredients
- 3 to 4 Tablespoons Grated Cucumber, juices removed by squeezing
- 1 Cup Greek Yogurt
- 2 Cloves Garlic, minced
- 2 to 3 Tablespoons Fresh Lemon Juice
- 2 Teaspoons Fresh Mint, finely chopped
- 1 Tablespoon Fresh Dill, finely chopped
- To Taste Grand Diamond All Purpose Seasoning
- To Taste Kosher Salt or Sea Salt
Directions
First, grate half of a cucumber using the larger side of a box grater. Place the grated cucumber in a cheese cloth or clean kitchen towel and squeeze out all of the water. Place the measured amount into a medium size bowl.
Place all of the remaining ingredients into the bowl with the grated cucumbers and stir well. Allow the tzatziki to sit for at least one half hour at room temperature before serving. Enjoy this sauce on top of Greek style gyros or as dip for vegetables!
