Carolyn’s Homemade Buttermilk Ranch Dressing

Makes 1½ Cups

Carolyn's Homemade Buttermilk Ranch Dressing


  • 2 Garlic Cloves, finely minced
  • ½ Cup Mayonnaise
  • ½ Cup Sour Cream
  • ½ Cup Low Fat Buttermilk
  • 1 Tablespoon Fresh Italian Parsley, finely chopped (or 1½ Teaspoons Dried Parsley)
  • 2 Teaspoons Fresh Basil, finely chopped (or 1 Teaspoon Dried Basil)
  • 1½ Teaspoons Fresh Dill, finely chopped (or ¾ tsp Dried Dill)
  • 2 Small Green Onions, trimmed and thinly sliced
  • 1½ Teaspoons White Wine Vinegar
  • To Taste Grand Diamond All Purpose Seasoning
  • ¼ Teaspoon Kosher Salt or To Taste
  • To Taste Black Pepper


In a medium size bowl, combine all of the ingredients and whisk well. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving. Enjoy on salads and it’s also great as a dip for vegetables and french fries.
